High School Student Program

The High School Student Program is a unique initiative of Code4Dev aimed at providing computer literacy education and technology access to high school students in Burundi. Our program offers training in basic computer skills, programming, and digital literacy, which will enable students to use technology to solve problems in their communities. We believe that providing this type of education at an early age will have a significant impact on the future of these young students, their communities, and ultimately the development of the country.

Program Objectives

Program Structure

The High School Student Program is structured as an after-school program, designed to complement students' regular school education. The program is offered free of charge to students in Burundi who demonstrate an interest in technology and a desire to learn.

Our program is taught by experienced professionals in the field of computer science and technology. We have a team of instructors who have extensive experience in software development, data science, and project management. Curriculum

The curriculum of the High School Student Program is designed to be comprehensive and hands-on. Our program covers a range of topics in computer science and technology, including:

Introduction to Programming: We teach students how to write basic computer programs using languages such as Python and Java.
Web Development: We introduce students to the basics of web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Digital Literacy: We teach students how to use technology to solve problems in their communities, including using social media for social change.
Cybersecurity: We teach students about the importance of online security and privacy, and how to protect themselves and their data online.

Mentorship and Support
